Welcome to the new school year of 2011-2012.  We are ready to open our doors to about 427 children from preschool through grade three.  NSES has been cleaned from top to bottom and I am sure you will be very excited to see the "makeover" of new paint in our cafeteria. 

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 31st.  It is a full day for all first, second and third graders.  Our 107 Kindergarten children will have a modified day of 9:00 to 1:45 with parents providing transportation.  Our preschoolers will start on Tuesday, September 6th. 

Be certain that all of your child's medical records are completely up-to-date so that your child can enter school on Wednesday.  This is mandatory by the state Health Department in conjunction with the Rhode Island Department of Education.
