NSES is in need of substitute lunch aides

North Smithfield Elementary School is in need of substitute lunch aides. If you are looking for a part-time position and would like to help our school, we would be very grateful for your help!

Our lunch aides work 3 hours per day (10:30-1:30) and help/supervise our students to efficiently eat lunch and have recess. Students are grouped by grade level (kindergarten, grade 1, grade 2 and grade 3).

If you are interested in becoming a substitute lunch aide, or know someone who is interested, please contact Diane Jolin, Principal, at djolin [at] nsps [dot] us (djolin [at] nsps [dot] us) or 401-765-2260. You can also access the North Smithfield School District application form at www.northsmithfieldschools.com and click on the Employment link under QUICK LINKS.

This is also the annual School Report Nights. A copy of the school report (School Improvement Plan for 2017-2020 and PARCC Assessment results for 2016-17 and Survey Works 2016-17 data) will be available in the school main office on our conference nights.

What Happens to Scheduled Meetings During Delays/Cancellations?

 Dear Families,

When there is a school delay or cancellation, please know that scheduled meetings during the delayed or cancelled period must be rescheduled to another day. You will be contacted by school/district personnel to reschedule the meeting to another time. Thank you for your understanding and patience, especially during the winter season when our schedule can be disrupted by Mother Nature.
